Training
The training activity promoted by Irepa aims to contribute
to an employment policy, which would ensure stable income
and new job opportunities for operators. By providing
training services and activities, the Institute support
the improvement of rationalisation of the fishery resources.
Through a unit specialised in design and implementation
of training activities and services conducted in conjunction
with public bodies or in partnership with companies,
fishing cooperatives and sector associations, Irepa
plans, organises and manages courses and vocational
training. The latter is directed not only towards providing
vocational guidance, retraining and specialisation for
young people, partners and employees, but also updating
the qualifications of managers.
Starting from the most productive areas and the most
evident needs, the activities planned and organised
by Irepa are devoted to strengthening the sector and
to adapt human resources to a changed context and to
sector streamlining.
To this purpose, Irepa organises refresher and retraining
courses, in order to increase the occupational opportunities.
Training activities of 2nd level to meet the needs of
companies and operators are also organised on national
wide base.
